How to Make the Can I Ride Dance AI Video: The Viral Two-Person Dance From Two Photos

Two friends stand side by side in front of a phone, a house beat drops, and a voice asks "can I ride?". Hands roll at the chest, claps, arm swings, a knee kick, a grin at the camera — ten seconds, perfectly in sync. Can I Ride is the two-person TikTok dance of October 2026, and here's how to make a version starring you and a friend from two photos, without learning a single step.

What is the Can I Ride dance?

It's a short two-person routine to "Can I Ride" by SIDEPIECE and 95 South, a 2026 house single. In early October the song's hook became the sound of a dance that duos, trios and families started copying; posts credit the choreography to Temi and Spencer Anderson.

On 9 October @joseriveraa_ posted a take with a friend that passed 1.5 million views, and within a week hundreds of versions were tagged as "dances for 2 people". Our Can I Ride template follows the moves and framing of that take. For the song, the steps and how the trend spread, see Can I Ride dance: the song, the steps and the trend.

How to make it

  1. Open the Can I Ride template.
  2. Add photo 1: the dancer on the left.
  3. Add photo 2: the dancer on the right.
  4. Pick a version and generate. Every version renders the whole 10-second clip.
  5. Download and post. The MP4 already has the Can I Ride sound on it, lined up from the first beat — tag your dance partner.

What happens in the video

  • 0–1.25 s: you two line up side by side, facing the camera.
  • 1.25–4 s: a hand on the heart, a rolling fist, crossed arms, then claps, all in sync.
  • 4–7.5 s: arms swing out to the sides, wrists flick down, and each of you kicks a knee up.
  • 7.5–10 s: loose bounces, a smile, and a quick line mouthed straight at the camera.

Photos that work best

  • Show the whole body. It's a full-body dance, so a standing photo from head to knees or toes gives the best outfit and proportions.
  • Faces sharp and forward. Eyes and mouth clearly visible, good light, no sunglasses.
  • One person per photo. Two separate photos give each face the most detail.
  • Pick your side. Photo 1 dances on the left, photo 2 on the right; swap them before you generate if you want the other side.
  • Ask first. Use your own photo and one of someone who said yes. Never a stranger, a child or a public figure.

Can I do it alone, or with my dog?

It's a two-person dance, so the template needs two photos — a friend, a sibling or your partner. Pets aren't supported in this one: the routine is all hand moves and footwork. For pets, try Money Flex Dog.

What does it cost?

Premium is 20 credits at 480p, 40 at 720p and 70 at 1080p; Balanced starts at 10 credits. Without an account, one video costs from $7.99 at checkout. Each account's first full 480p video costs 20 credits. No watermark, and failed renders are refunded automatically.
