Can I make an APT AI video for free?
Not at the moment. apt video ai does not currently include free generation credits. Each two-person clip is rendered by a commercial video model, and that costs real money per render, so personalized videos are paid with credits.
We would rather say that up front than promise a free trial that ends in a surprise paywall.
What you can do for free
You can explore almost everything before you spend a credit:
- Watch the example clips made on the pink studio stage
- Watch the official APT. music video on the homepage
- Upload your two photos and check who lands in which role
- Read the guides on character swaps and photo choices
- Create an account and see your balance and the cost of each quality
What a video costs
A 480p video costs 20 credits and a 720p video costs 45 credits. You can buy a credit pack and pay per video — pack credits never expire — or subscribe to Pro for 90 fresh credits every month.
Unused Pro credits roll over up to 180. The pricing page lists current pack prices and compares monthly and yearly Pro.
Your credits are protected
The Generate button shows the exact cost for the quality you picked, next to your balance, before anything is charged.
If a render fails for any reason, its credits go straight back to your balance automatically. You do not need to contact support.
Get the most out of your first video
A few habits make every credit count:
- Use sharp, front-facing photos with one person each
- Double-check the roles: Photo 1 drums, Photo 2 sings
- Test a new pair at 480p (20 credits) first
- Render the clip you plan to post at 720p (45 credits)
