What is Banana Tree Run AI?
Banana Tree Run AI is the running on banana trees trend from one photo: AI puts you on a hillside banana plantation, sprinting across the tops of the plants and jumping from one broad leaf to the next, light and sure-footed, as if it were real.
It follows the moves and side-on tracking camera of the clip that started the trend, so the sprint, the high leap, the long jump over the path and the run on into the plantation land on the same beats, and the video comes with that clip's sound. You add one photo, nothing else. Videos start at 10 credits.
What the template recreates
One side-on tracking shot at leaf-top height, 11 seconds, on the original's timing.
- 0–4.5 s
The sprint
You race to the right along the tops of the banana plants, pushing off each broad leaf, arms pumping.
- 4.5–5.5 s
The high leap
You spring up toward a taller plant, knees high, arms reaching forward.
- 5.5–8.25 s
Over the path
A long jump across the gap above a red dirt path, and you land on the next leaf without a wobble.
- 8.25–11 s
On into the plantation
The camera swings a little behind you as you keep running along the leaf tops, away into the green.
Where the banana tree run trend came from
Clips of people walking on banana leaves have circulated on TikTok since early 2026, made with AI because a real banana leaf can't hold a person. The October version is faster: a full sprint with long leaps from plant to plant.
On 15 October 2026 @big.e.ug posted a CapCut AI clip of himself running across the tops of banana plants on a hillside. It passed 1.8 million views and 159,000 likes, and its CapCut template went past 1 million uses by 20 October. People now put themselves, their friends and their pets on the leaves.

Photo tips for the best banana tree run
Face sharp and clear
Eyes and face clearly visible, no sunglasses. The camera sees you from the side, so a sharp photo keeps you recognizable in profile.
Show your body
Waist up or full body works best: the run needs your arms and legs, and the AI keeps your build.
Dress for a run
You run in the clothes from your photo, so a T-shirt and trainers look right; long dresses and coats flap oddly mid-leap.
Use your own photo
Use a photo of yourself or of an adult who said yes. Never a stranger, a child or a public figure.
