How to make an AI video with friends

What you need

Before you start, have these ready:

• Three photos: one each of you and two friends, one person per photo
• Your friends' OK — they will appear in the video
• An account, so your renders are saved
• Credits: 10 for a 480p video or 20 for a 720p video

Step 1: Pick one photo per person

Choose clear, front-facing everyday photos where nothing covers the face. Even lighting and a sharp image matter more than the background, which becomes a garden anyway. You don't need a group photo — separate photos work.

JPG, PNG and WebP files under 20 MB are supported. Crop group shots down to one person. Celebrity photos and film or MV stills won't pass review.

Step 2: Assign the three roles

Open the Garden Trio page and drop the photos into the three slots. Photo 1 is the splasher: they open with the water bottle and kick the chair at the end. Photo 2 is the jumper, who leaps up from the bench and flails. Photo 3 is the sidekick: they dodge the water, sit on the plastic chair and wave from the foreground at the end.

Photo 2 mostly appears in the first half, while photos 1 and 3 stay on screen until the end. Put whoever should get the most screen time in photo 1 or 3, and your most dramatic friend in photo 2.

Step 3: Choose a quality

Pick 480p (10 credits) or 720p (20 credits). The moves and cuts are identical; 720p is sharper and survives social-app compression better. The clip is 1:1 square, ready for feeds.

Step 4: Generate and wait

Press Generate. Each of the three photos goes through a quick review, and the render starts once all three are approved. Most videos finish within a few minutes, and the clip runs about 9 seconds.

You do not have to keep the tab open. Finished clips stay in Your renders, and if a photo is not approved or the render fails, the credits are refunded automatically.

Step 5: Download and share

When you play or download the clip, the original audio is added in your browser, so the MP4 you download has sound. It works for group chats, Instagram, TikTok and more; switch on the AI-generated label where the platform asks for it.

Only share clips of people who agreed to be featured.

Only two of you?

This template needs three different photos. For two people, use the APT. Pink Studio or Alors on danse template — same idea, just two photos.

Troubleshooting

Most problems trace back to the input photos:

• "Photo N didn't pass review" → replace that one with an everyday photo of yourself or a friend, not a celebrity photo or a screenshot
• A face does not look right → use a sharper, front-facing photo with even light
• The roles came out wrong → reorder the three photos and generate again
• You closed the page → find the clip in Your renders
